THOTCON (pronounced \ˈthȯt\ and taken from THree - One - Two) is a hac
king conference based in Chicago IL, USA. This is a non-profit, non-commercial e
vent looking to provide the best conference possible on a very limited budget. 

THOTCON 0xD will be held in Chicago, IL on May 30th & 31st, 2025. 

It will be held at a location only to be disclosed to attendees and speakers dur
ing the week before the event.

This year the conference will have 7 different areas:

* LOC://AUD - Track 1
 - This is where the full-length talks are located. 
 - There will be theatre style seating in this room. 
 - Talkers will be asked to leave Track 1. 
 - Again, there is NO talking in Track 1 or you will be asked to leave.

 - This is where the track 2 talks will be held. These are the turbo talks.  
 - There will be rows of chairs.
 - Talkers will be asked to leave Track 2. 
 - Again, there is NO talking in Track 2 or you will be asked to leave. 

* LOC://R306 - Track X 
 - This is where the Track X worksthop talks will be held. 
 - There will be chair seating and screens.

* LOC://BAR - BarCon && Edu Sponsors
 - There will be drinking in here. 
 - The Edu Sponsors will be in here. 
 - There will be music and wubs.
 - There will be Lulz.
 - There will be chairs and tables.
 - There will be access to the tubes.

 - For the VIPs and Speakers there will be FREE hard drinks, a lunch buffet and 
   an afternoon snacks. This area will be open until 1 hour before close.

* LOC://R302 - HAM EXAMS / HAM EXAMS 
 - North Shore Radio Club will be conducting Amatuer Radio on Saturday May 31st 
   from 10am till 2pm.
 - Be prepared to pay a $15 cash fee for the exam and show a Gov't photo ID.
 - Candidates who pass their first exam may take the subsequent exam without pa
   ying an additional fee, up to 3 licenses can be earned with the $15 fee. 
 - After the exam, newly licensed candidates will be sent an email from the FCC
   to pay a $35 licensing fee.
