THOTCON (pronounced \ˈthȯt\ and taken from THree - One - Two) is a small venue hacking conference based in Chicago IL, USA. This is a non-profit, non-commercial event looking to provide the best conference possible on a very limited budget.
THOTCON 0xE will have three tracks over two days and over 1800 attendees. It will be held in Chicago, IL in 2027; dates are TBA. The party will be held at a TBA location a few hours after the close of the first day.
The conference is 100% funded by ticket sales, but the after party and student tickets are funded by sponsors.
This is where we need your support. In order to have a great party for our attendees, offer student tickets below cost, and keep our ticket prices reasonable, we need to partner with great companies to make it happen.
In the past, several companies have also donated items for speaker gifts and contest prizes as well.
Also, we have had many requests to provide attendee lists to sponsors. Each year we ask attendees to opt in during the registration process.

The cost to sponsor is only $5,000.00 and includes:
- Verbal mention of thanks during the intro and closing sessions.
- Company logo in the program
- Link from the Sponsor page on the website (forever)
- 3 VIP & 3 GA tickets ($1,950.00 value)
- Reserved table top at the after party.

An education sponsor helps support the cost of the Student GA Tickets. These tickets are sold well below the price of a General Admittance ticket but have the same experience at THOTCON.
The cost to sponsor is only $5,000.00 and includes:
- Verbal mention of thanks during the intro and closing sessions.
- Company logo in the program
- Link from the Sponsor page on the website (forever)
- 3 VIP & 3 GA tickets ($1,950.00 value)
- Reserved table in the Edu Sponsor area during the CONFERENCE. This is a traditional 8 foot table top to showcase your education opportunities to attendees.

A prize sponsor donates prizes for contests at THOTCON. This is typically an add-on to one of the above sponsorships.
There is a minimum total prize value of $2,000.00 and includes:
- Verbal mention of thanks during the intro and closing sessions.

- Link from the Sponsor page on the website (forever)

- It is a 2-day event with 3 tracks and hacker villages
- We started as a 125 person event in 2010 and now host 1800+
- All tickets are sold in advance & we do not publicly disclose the location
- 75% of the attendees are from the Chicago area
- Attendee industry representation includes Financial Services, Technology, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Energy, and others.
- Attendee roles range from CISO/CIO/CTO to Security Engineer to Application Developer to Security Consultant
- Recruiting for local talent is also a possibility as recent graduates or students also attend
- All money raised for the after party goes towards the event
